Welcome to Umingle. Our service is a platform for spontaneous conversations. These rules apply to all areas of Umingle, including text and video chat. To ensure a positive and safe experience for everyone, all users must follow the rules below. These rules form part of our binding Terms of Service.

18+ Only

Umingle is a service for adults only. All users must be 18 years of age or older. Minors are strictly prohibited from using the service under any circumstances, including with parental permission. By using Umingle, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old.

All users must use the Report button (available during chats) to report anyone they suspect to be under 18. This supports our multi-layered moderation system and helps maintain community safety.

Inappropriate Conduct

Any illegal, harmful, or inappropriate behavior is prohibited. Violations will result in suspension or a permanent ban, at our sole discretion. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Abuse & Harassment: Abusive language, hate speech, threats, bullying, or any behavior that insults or demeans another user based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal trait.
• Nudity & Sexual Content: Displaying nudity, partial nudity, sexually suggestive acts, or any form of explicit content is prohibited. Video chats must remain focused on your face (not elsewhere).
• Illegal Activities: Do not display or promote illegal acts, including drug use, violence, or self-harm. Displaying weapons or dangerous objects is also prohibited.
• Spam, Solicitation & Advertising: Do not use the service for unsolicited advertising, spam, or any commercial solicitation. Umingle is for genuine personal conversations, not marketing or promotion.

Gender-Based Solicitation

Do not indicate gender preferences at the start of chats (for example, using “m” or “f”) or by any other means. Umingle is not a dating platform, and such behavior negatively affects the experience for others.

Impersonation

Users must not stream pre-recorded video, use deepfake technology, or impersonate another person in any way.

Disruptive or Inappropriate Content

Disruptive or irrelevant content in text or video mode is prohibited. This includes repetitive messages, unsolicited promotions, and excessive linking. Do not point your camera toward screens, printed signs, or other images. Your camera must remain focused on your face at all times.

Third-Party Scripts, Bots, and Software

The use of unauthorized software, third-party scripts, or bots is not permitted. Any attempt to interfere with, automate, or disrupt the platform's operation or security will result in a permanent ban and potential legal action.

Privacy & Safety

For your protection, do not share personal information such as your full name, social media accounts, phone number, address, financial details, or images/videos of others. Report any user who requests or shares such information.

Our Moderation & Your Responsibility

Umingle uses a multi-layered moderation system, combining automated AI and human review, to enforce these rules. However, you are connecting with real people in real time and are solely responsible for your own behavior and the content you share.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to review, suspend, or terminate any account that violates these rules or disrupts the community. Violations may result in temporary suspension, permanent bans, or legal reporting where appropriate.
